Winter Support Package
Many community organisations are struggling at the moment – struggling to support increased demand from local people, struggling to secure funding and struggling to ensure that they are clear about their priorities in the wake of covid-19 and the dramatic rise in the costs of living.
To help, we have launched our Winter Support Package – a programme of support to help survive the current crisis, business reviews, action planning and gearing you up for successful fundraising applications and the issues that are important to you and your community.
Our typical package will include the following:
- 1- 2 hrs on line initial consultation to define the issues and understand your organisation
- 1 day remote support and development planning focusing on the issues you have identified
- A 1 day face-to-face or remote workshop
- A Winter Support Action Plan and Recommendations
Following the initial consultation we will tailor a package to suit your specific requirements.
Costs:
- Small charity or social enterprise £1,750
- Other larger or regional organisations £2,250
- Senior Consultant led support £2,500
There are a small number of discounted packages available to group working in areas of high deprivation or with communities that face social, economic or other exclusions based on protected characteristics, please contact us for more details.
We are also providing funding workshops to help your organisation identify suitable funding opportunities, including a step by step practical exercise on completing a funding application.
A one day Funding Masterclass
Funding training £1500 for a tailored package for organisations, £125 per delegate for open training
Outcomes: delegates will improve their knowledge and understanding of funding and gain insight into how funders operate and make decisions on applications

- Practical session – looking at and completing an application

Trade and Income Generation for charities – A half day master class £65 per delegate
Outcomes: delegates will understand the opportunities and limitations for charities to generate their own income through trade and fundraising
- Understanding the regulatory (HMRC and Charity Commission) context – regulations and good practice
- The types of trade charities can and cannot undertake
- A fundraising and income strategy
